Requirement Change: Create a New Requirement Change
!
A recent update to the exceptions entry modification now allows for transfer and exam credit to be entered via course directive. Requirement changes should only be used when the required courses or units are truly changing. If using transfer or exam credit toward a requirement, use a course directive.
Step 1
Find the requirement in the DPR that needs an exception. From the “Create Exception” drop down menu, select Requirement Change and click Go.

Step 2
In the Exception Note box, enter some details about the exception.

Step 3
In the New Values box, edit the values to reflect what you want the requirement to be. For instance, if the requirement was initially set to require three courses, and you want to change it to two, you change the minimum courses field.
When finished, click Save and Reprocess DPR.

Step 4
Return to the requirement in the DPR to ensure the change was properly applied.
