Select Substitute to allow the course to count toward the requirement.

Select Exclude to not allow the course to count toward the requirement.

Step 6

Select the line you want to direct the course to. You cannot choose Line 0001. Generally speaking, you can select any of the lines, though you may want to select a line that corresponds with what you’re substituting. For instance, if you’re substituting a specific lecture/lab combination, you may choose that line.

Lines that indicate multiple courses (such as lecture and lab combinations), may also require a requirement change if only directing a single course.

Step 7

Confirm everything is correct in the Direct Courses to and Directed Courses sections, then click Save and Reprocess DPR.
