Requirement Term: Program

The requirement term for the Student Program applies to the General Education (GE) and University of California (UC) requirements.

Step 1

From the Academic Advisor Home Page in AIS, navigate to the Student Program/Plan page using the following path:

Advising and Curriculum -> Career/Program/Plan -> Student Program/Plan

Step 2

Enter the Student ID and click Search

Step 3

The current Student Program will populate.

Warning

When the Student Program loads, if any of the following conditions are true, stop what you’re doing, and contact regsys@ucsc.edu.

  • Program Action = COMP (student has completed the program)
  • Program Action = DISC (student has discontinued study)
  • Program Action = DATA and Action Reason = ACAN (student has applied to graduate)
  • Program Action = DATA and Action Reason is blank (student has applied to graduate)
  • Program Action = DATA and Action Reason = RSCH (student has rescheduled graduation)

If none of the above are true, proceed to step 4

Step 4

Click on the “+” sign in the top right corner of the Student Details box on the Student Program tab

Step 5

The Program Action and Action Reason will erase. Enter the following information:

Program Action: DATA

Action Reason: RTRM

Requirement Term: Desired 4-digit requirement term (i.e. 2218, 2220, 2228, etc)

Step 6

Click Save.
